Monthly Parking Frequently Asked Questions

 
How do I create a MyParking Services monthly parking account?
  1. Go to www.MyParkingServices.com and click Monthly Parking.
  2. This will lead you to the MyParking Services login page, click Create Account
    • If you want to use your Gmail account, click Sign in with Google.  
  3. Fill out the following information: 
    • First name 
    • Last name 
    • Email 
    • Password 
  4. Click Sign Up
  5. An email will be sent to you, please follow the instructions to confirm your email address and activate your account. 

Note: Residential Parking Permits, ParkPlus, Calgary Zoo, TELUS Spark and Heritage Park parking services all use the same MyParking Services login credentials.  

How do I apply for monthly parking?
  1. On the left-hand side menu click Apply for Monthly Parking.
  2. Enter a location to find parking lots in the area in that area. Use the map and click on a pin to select a lot.
  3. Enter the number of stalls and click Select beside the vehicle type you would like.
  4. Indicate your preferred start date and then click Apply.
    • If your preferred start date is before or after the 1st of the month, you’ll pay a prorated amount. This is a partial charge that includes the day you start until the end of that month.
    • If there are not enough stalls available, click Notify Me to be put on the wait list. You will be sent an email when the stall(s) become available and you will have 72 hours to accept or reject the offer.
  5. If your parking lot requires an Access Card, you will select the preferred delivery option to receive your Access Card.
  6. Select the application type and provide your contact information. Accept the Monthly Parking Terms and Conditions to continue.
  7. Select your preferred payment type from the drop-down menu and provide your payment information.
  8. Review your application details and click Submit
How do I accept a monthly parking offer?

If your application was put on the waitlist, you will get sent an email when the stall(s) become available. 

  1. On the left-hand side menu click Manage Monthly Parking.  
  1. Under the Pending Contracts section click View. 
  1. Click Continue to accept the offer. 
  1. If your parking lot requires an Access Card, you will select the preferred delivery option to receive your Access Card.  
  1. Select the application type and provide your contact information. Accept the Monthly Parking Terms and Conditions to continue.  
  1. Select your preferred payment type from the drop-down menu and provide your payment information.  
  2. Review your application details and click Submit.
How do I manage my monthly parking?
  1. On the left-hand side menu click Manage Monthly Parking.  
  2. If you have one stall:  
    • Click Edit My Licence Plate List to add and activate your licence plate(s). 
    • You can activate up to three (3) licence plates per stall but only one (1) vehicle can be parked at a time.  
  3. If you have multiple stalls, you must activate your licence plate(s) for each stall:  
    • Click Edit My Licence Plate List to add your licence plate(s).  
    • Click Edit beside the stall you want to manage and click the switch next to the licence plate(s) to indicate which have active sessions. Once active the switch will be green. Click Save.  

Please ensure you activate the correct licence plate(s), so you don’t receive a parking ticket.  

How do I cancel my monthly parking?
  1. On the left-hand side menu click Manage Monthly Parking.  
  2. Click Cancel Permit to cancel your whole permit or click Cancel Stall if you only want to cancel one stall.  
    • If you cancel your monthly parking from the 1st - 15th of the month, your monthly parking will expire at the end of that month. If you cancel your monthly parking from the 16th to the end of the month, your monthly parking will expire at the end of the following month. For example, if you cancel on April 16, you’ll have parking privileges until your parking expires on May 31.   
How do I edit my payment information?
  1. On the left-hand side menu click Manage Monthly Parking.  
  2. Click Payment Options and then Edit Payment Information.  
  3. Select your payment type to edit payment information and click Continue.  
  4. Edit payment information and click Continue

Note: Only one credit card can be added as a payment option. 

How do I view my transaction history?
  1. On the left-hand side menu click Manage Monthly Parking.  
  2. Click Payment Options and then Edit Payment Information.  
  3. Select your payment type to view transaction history and click Continue
  4. Click Show Transaction History
How do I edit my contact information?
  1. Under the Admin tab, click User Profile.
  2. To edit the contact information or mailing address click Edit.  
  3. Enter the contact information or mailing address and click Save. 
How is the new monthly parking system different?

The MyParking Services system is simpler and more convenient for parkers; it offers new functionality so users can comprehensively and independently manage their parking needs in one centralized location.

The new system allows you to easily apply for and manage residential parking and/or monthly parking from one site with the sleek user interface and easy navigation. It introduces credit card as a monthly parking payment method and allows you to cancel your monthly parking directly on the system, so you don’t have to email us.

Why am I only able to pay with credit card on MyParking Services?

This is a temporary phase as we roll out the full functionality of the MyParking Services system. For the time being, credit card is the only payment method available but in the coming months we will be adding pre-authorized debit and cheque as options, too. 

I already have monthly parking on Park Online, but I want to add more stalls; do I have to create a new account on the new monthly parking system?

Yes. You’ll need to use www.myparkingservices.com for all new monthly parking applications as we shift away from Park Online. Soon, all monthly parking services will be accessible on the new MyParking Services system. If you have any questions please email monthlyparking@calgaryparking.com

When will everything be switched over to the new system? When will Park Online be shut down?

At this stage we do not have a firm timeframe, but rest assured we will keep all monthly parkers aware of transition plans and dates once we have confirmed details. In the interim, your parking services will remain uninterrupted and our customer service teams are prepared to support customers moving to the new system and those still on Park Online. 

Why can't I apply for Flex Pass on the MyParking Services system?

At this time, the Flex Pass system hasn’t been integrated into the MyParking Services system but you can always apply for a Flex Pass at https://flexpass.parkplus.ca. For more information on CPA’s Flex Pass, click here: https://www.calgaryparking.com/flexpass

How do I get my access card?

Currently, due to COVID-19 precautions your choices are to receive your access card through regular mail or courier (at an additional cost). You will be prompted to make your selection during the monthly parking application process.  Please note, you can park in your lot before you receive your access card.

What happens if I forget my access card?

If you forget your Access card and you park in a parkade, please use the intercoms located at the gate/doors to connect with dispatch if it is locked. 

Why was my payment declined?

If your payment was declined that means your credit card was declined. If your payment one-time payment is declined, then your monthly parking will be revoked immediately. If your monthly payment declines, please call our customer service team 403-537-7000 or email monthlyparking@calgaryparking.com.
