Calgary Parking Authority
The Impound Lot (400-39 Ave SE) remains open with reduced hours: weekdays 8am to 8pm and 12 noon to 4pm on weekends and statutory holidays. This may result in longer than usual wait times for customer service support. Thank you for your patience. Remember ticket and/or permit payments can be made online from the safety and convenience of your home (please note, towing and storage fees must be paid in person at the Impound Lot to secure the release of a vehicle).
CPA is enforcing physical distancing rules by requiring customers remain 6 feet apart and limiting the number of people in our lobby at one time. This means customers may be required to wait outside before gaining access to the lobby. Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring all necessary documentation with you.The health and safety of our customers and employees remains our highest priority. Please do not enter the Impound Lot if you are sick.
We are encouraging use of the MyParking App rather than pay machines and want to remind customers to use online tools to pay tickets, submit appeals, manage Residential Parking Permits and top up your ParkPlus account.
Street Sweeping in effect between April 19th and the end of June. For information about this City of Calgary program visit: calgary.ca/sweep.
LOT 60 Vaccine Clinic: We’d like to thank the more than 23,000 parkers who’ve attended the TELUS Convention Centre vaccine clinic and successfully registered their licence plate in our system. This process allows us to accommodate as many parkers as possible in our limited capacity parkade. We encourage Calgarians to continue to register their licence plate when attending the clinic, as it ensures vehicle turnover and allows continuous parking access in support of vaccinations.

Convention Centre Vaccination Clinic
The City of Calgary, Alberta Health Services, and the TELUS Convention Centre will open a large-scale COVID-19 clinic in the TELUS Convention Centre on Monday, April 5th.
Clinic visitors can receive 90 minutes free parking by registering a parking session via the MyParking app or Convention Centre Parkade pay machines. Visitors must register a session no matter how long they plan to park: those who don’t register may receive a ticket.
This temporary promotion is in effect from Monday, April 5th until further notice; The City and AHS will determine an end date based on vaccination progress. This will be communicated as soon as we receive confirmation.
Since the start of the pandemic CPA has placed a priority on health and safety of Calgarians. We’re pleased we can continue to do so by supporting this clinic and our partners The City of Calgary and AHS. For more information, please visit CalgaryParking.com/Vaccine.
New Edmonton Trail Zones & Requirements
The CPA believes in building a better Calgary by working collaboratively to support the current and future parking needs of the communities we serve.
In December, as part of The City of Calgary’s Edmonton Trail improvements project, the Roads department installed maximum time limit and no stopping signage along the north and south lanes of Edmonton Trail NE from 7th Ave to 14th Ave NE to support a smooth flow of traffic and encourage efficient curbside utilization. Though no payment will be necessary at this time, registration is now required.
The CPA supports this project via enforcement and through online registration services. ParkPlus pay machines will not be installed in these new zones. Registration will be accessible through the MyParking app, Text to Park, Call to Park and our Virtual Pay Machine (VPM).
For more info, please visit The City of Calgary's website.
