Pay for Parking with Your Cell Phone

LOT 60 Vaccine Clinic - Closing July 30th

We’d like to thank the more than 23,000 parkers who’ve attended the TELUS Convention Centre vaccine clinic and successfully registered their licence plate in our system. This process allows us to accommodate as many parkers as possible in our limited capacity parkade. We encourage Calgarians to continue to register their licence plate when attending the clinic, as it ensures vehicle turnover and allows continuous parking access in support of vaccinations.

The CPA is pleased to support the health and safety of Albertans through our alignment with the clinic, and as such parkers who received a ticket at the Convention Centre Parkade between April 5th and 30th do not need to take any further action.

Heritage Day – August 2, 2021: Payment is not required for on-street ParkPlus zones and holiday rates will be in effect in select CPA surface lots and parkades. Regular rates will be in effect at Calgary Zoo, TELUS Spark and Heritage Park. Our Impound Lot will also be closed.

How ParkPlus Cell Phone Accounts Work

With a ParkPlus cell phone account, you can pay for your on-street parking in any ParkPlus zone or for off-street parking in a CPA facility. There are four ways you can use your cell phone account:

  1. MyParking App: Download the free MyParking app for the iPhone or Android to start and stop your parking session from within the app and be credited back for the unused time.
  2. Call to Park: You can activate a parking session by calling (403) 537-PARK (7275) and following the voice prompts to start a parking session. Call the same number back to deactivate the session to have your account credited back for the unused time! 
  3. Text to Park: You can also use Text to Park to pay for parking. Just text "start" and "end" with the ParkPlus zone number to 77587 (PPLUS) to activate and deactivate your parking session and be credited back for the unused time.
  4. Start Session Online: ParkPlus cell phone account holders can also start a parking session online.  Click here to find out more about online activations.

As long as you use the same phone number, you can start your session and end your session using any method (for example, you can start the session through the app and end it via Text to Park).
