Consider parking slightly farther away and walking in. Many locations also offer an option to extend your stay, so you don’t have to return to your vehicle if your plans change.

Parking deals
Parking deals are available across downtown during Stampede:
- A $12 weekday parking deal is available at select lots for up to 12 hours (6 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
- Early arrival deals, such as Platform Parkade, offer reduced full-day rates when you arrive before 10 a.m.
- Free evening parking (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.) may be included with a full daytime session at select parkades such as:
- City Centre Parkade (Lot 25) - 340 10 Avenue S.W. / 221 9 Avenue S.W.
- McDougall Parkade (Lot 28) - 720 5 Avenue S.W.
- City Hall Parkade (Lot 36) - 322 9 Avenue S.E.
- Harmony Parkade (Lot 40) - 112 5 Avenue S.W.
- Centennial Parkade (Lot 54) - 608 9 Avenue S.W. / 823 5 Street S.W.
- Convention Centre Parkade (Lot 60) - 727 1 Street S.E.
- Platform Innovation Centre Parkade (Lot 62) - 399 9 Avenue S.E.
- On Friday and Saturday evenings, some locations allow you to extend your stay until 10 a.m. the next day at no extra cost
Tickets and towing
Avoid tickets and tows
To avoid issues during Stampede:
- Read all posted signs and temporary restrictions
- Do not park in no-parking zones or restricted residential areas
- Avoid blocking access for residents, emergency vehicles or event operations
- Check whether closures will affect your parking location before you go
During high-demand periods like Parade Day, vehicles parked in restricted areas may be ticketed or moved (short towed) to nearby streets to keep traffic moving.

- Contact the Calgary Parking Call Centre at 403-537-7000 for help locating your vehicle If your vehicle was short towed, staff can help you determine where it was relocated nearby
- Check surrounding streets in case your vehicle was moved within the area
- Visit the Municipal Impound Lot for assistance if your vehicle was towed to the lot
