In support of COVID-19 precautions, the main CPA office (620-9 Avenue SW) closed effective March 17, 2020. The Impound Lot (400-39 Ave SE) location remains open with reduced hours of 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and from 12noon to 4pm on weekends. This may result in longer than usual wait times for customer service support. We thank you for your patience. Please remember that payment can be made online from the safety and convenience of your home.
CPA is enforcing physical distancing rules by requiring customers to remain 6 feet apart and limiting the number of people in our lobby at a time. This means customers may be required to wait outside before gaining access to the lobby. Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring all necessary documentation with you.The health and safety of our customers and employees remains our highest priority. Please do not enter the Impound Lot if you are sick.
We are encouraging use of the MyParking App rather than pay machines and want to remind customers to use online tools to pay tickets, submit appeals, manage residential parking permits and top up your paid parking account.
The City of Calgary introduced a temporary 30 minute grace period for curbside parking from April 09 - May 31, 2020. Effective June 01, 2020 regular parking rates apply.
For a limited time, the CPA is extending a new special offer for our new normal; a buy-one-get-one-free (BOGO) monthly parking rate in select CPA lots & parkades.
We’ll take care of everything for you! Once you’re signed up on our online monthly parking system, simply enter your financial information. The first month’s payment will be deducted while the second month is on us! Your rate will revert to normal for the third month onward.

Why park with CPA?
The CPA offers monthly parking for a number of its parkades and surface lots, including motorcycle and bicycle parking. We currently have monthly parking available at a few great parkades: James Short Parkade, City Centre Parkade, Riverwalk Parkade (Alt Hotel) and more! We appreciate your business and your investment in Calgary; every dollar we collect above operational costs is given to City Council and reinvested in your community parks, libraries, roads and more. In 2019, the CPA returned $24.8 million to The City.

The Calgary Parking Authority uses a multipurpose, self-serve, web-based application, called Park Online, to serve our monthly contract holders.
Our customers update their own license plate information on this platform for ultimate control.

Preferred Parker Access Cards
You must use your Preferred Parker Access Card to enter the parkade when the gate arm is down and the "Full" sign is illuminated. Please make sure you know where your card is and keep it in a handy location in your vehicle. If you cannot find your card, please email email@example.com and request a replacement card. There is a $20 replacement fee per card.
Finding a parking stall
If you enter the parkade and have difficulty finding a stall, please call 403-537-7006. Our Mobile Patrol Officers manage the stalls in all our facilities and are available 24/7.
Please park courteously
Each year we receive numerous complaints from customers who indicate that someone has parked over the stall lines and made a parking stall inaccessible to other vehicles. Our staff regularly patrol the parkades and issue warnings to offenders; however, we ask that you park as courteously as possible each time you enter a parking stall.
CPA Cancellation Agreement for Monthly Contracts
Customers must provide the CPA with a minimum of thirty (30) days written notice in order to cancel their monthly contract agreement. The effective date of termination of the agreement is considered to be the 1st day of the month, following the expiration of the 30 day notice period. For customers with a contract in a CPA parkade, the customer shall return the access device to the CPA within the notice period and no later than the 30th day. Failure to return the access device will result in a "lost card" charge being levied.
