The Calgary Parking Authority: Offering So Much More than ParkingOur Annual Report, 'Report to the Community'Our Report to the Community summarizes the Calgary Parking Authority's activities in the communities we serve and highlights the successes that we celebrated in 2020. You’ll find our financials, information about the role we play in Calgary as well as some of the ways in which we gave back to the community last year. High ParkThe CPA is proud to support High Park and the Beltline Neighbourhoods Association’s (BNA) vision for this utilitarian community space; the top floor of our City Centre Parkade (Lot 25)! High Park celebrates placemaking across Calgary and highlights the importance of interactive public art spaces that contribute to our beautiful city. For more information, please visit: www.beltlineyyc.ca/highparkyyc or submit a rental request on our Event Rentals page. New Edmonton Trail Zones & RequirementsThe CPA believes in building a better Calgary by working collaboratively to support the current and future parking needs of the communities we serve. In December, as part of The City of Calgary’s Edmonton Trail improvements project, the Roads department installed maximum time limit and no stopping signage along the north and south lanes of Edmonton Trail NE from 7th Ave to 14th Ave NE to support a smooth flow of traffic and encourage efficient curbside utilization. Though no payment will be necessary at this time, registration is now required. The CPA supports this project via enforcement and through online registration services. ParkPlus pay machines will not be installed in these new zones. Registration will be accessible through the MyParking app, Text to Park, Call to Park and our Virtual Pay Machine (VPM). For more info, please visit The City of Calgary's website. Interested in joining the CPA team? |
