Platform Innovation Centre Parkade receives National Architecture Award
The Platform Innovation Centre Parkade has received a Governor General's Medal in Architecture, one of Canada's highest honours for architectural excellence.
Awarded by the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) and the Canada Council for the Arts, the recognition celebrates projects that demonstrate design excellence and make a meaningful contribution to communities across Canada. Designed by 5468796 Architecture Inc. and Kasian Architecture Interior Design and Planning, the Platform Innovation Centre Parkade is the first parkade in Canada to receive this distinction.
Located between East Village and the Culture + Entertainment District, the award-winning facility offers more than 500 parking stalls and public amenities that help support businesses, visitors, residents and events in one of Calgary's fastest-growing areas.
