On-Street Parking

Street Sweeping in effect between April 19th and the end of June. For information about this City of Calgary program visit: calgary.ca/sweep.

LOT 60 Vaccine Clinic: We’d like to thank the more than 23,000 parkers who’ve attended the TELUS Convention Centre vaccine clinic and successfully registered their licence plate in our system. This process allows us to accommodate as many parkers as possible in our limited capacity parkade. We encourage Calgarians to continue to register their licence plate when attending the clinic, as it ensures vehicle turnover and allows continuous parking access in support of vaccinations.

The CPA is pleased to support the health and safety of Albertans through our alignment with the clinic, and as such parkers who received a ticket at the Convention Centre Parkade between April 5th and 30th do not need to take any further action.

15 Minutes of Free Parking!

The City of Calgary and the CPA are offering 15 minutes of free on-street parking in Calgary's on-street ParkPlus zones. This promotion supports local businesses by accommodating expanded curb side pick-ups and deliveries given the latest COVID-19 restritctions. The City and the CPA acknowledge the recent increase in demand for short-term parking as Calgarians are opting for safe curbside pick-up and delivery options.

How does it work? Start a session using one of our easy, quick and sanitary options: the MyParking app, Call to Park and Text to Park (all require a ParkPlus account). Calgarians can also register at a ParkPlus pay machine if they prefer.

A few important notes:

  • Parkers using the MyParking app, Call to Park and Text to Park must end their session within the 15 free minutes to avoid being charged.

  • If you need to stay longer, you’ll be charged for parking beyond the 15-minute free time limit. Parkers without a registered session may receive a ticket.

  • This promotion is only valid where parking is permitted. Vehicles must be parked in accordance with all posted signage and municipal bylaws.

We appreciate your business and your investment in Calgary; every dollar we collect above operational costs is given to City Council and reinvested in our community parks, libraries, roads and more.

Find A Rate

Check out what streets are typically the busiest before you plan your trip downtown! Zoom in to the desired location to view historical data that shows how busy this street usually is based on the time of day and date. The default for on-street historical data is for the current date and time. You can change the date and time by using the drop down menu.

Please note that this feature does not provide real-time data. This information uses historical data to provide a general guideline of on-street parking availability.

To find the rate of a zone, use the + sign (located on the right hand side of the map) to zoom into the specific zone that you are looking for. Once you have found the desired location, move your mouse over the area until the hand icon becomes a pointing finger. Then, click once. The zone number and pricing information will appear in a pop-up box. Click on the "X" in the top right corner if you would like to close the box.
