COVID-19 Update

In support of COVID-19 precautions our hours of operation have been reduced to support the health of our staff and customers through social distancing. This may result in longer than usual wait times for customer service support. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience during this time. 

As of March 17, 2020, the main CPA office (620-9 Avenue SW) will be closed. The Impound Lot (400-39 Ave SEis actively enforcing physical distancing rules, requiring customers to remain 6 feet apart and limiting the number of people in our lobby at a time. This means customers may need to wait outside before gaining access to the lobby, so dress appropriately for the weather and have all necessary documentation with you to support an efficient visit. Please also note, the Impound Lot’s reduced hours of operation are 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 12noon until 4pm on weekends; please arrive early enough to ensure we have enough time to resolve your concerns.

The health and safety of our customers and employees is our highest priority. Please do not enter the Impound Lot if you are sick. We are encouraging use of the myParking App rather than pay machines and want to remind customers to use online tools to pay tickets, submit appeals, manage residential parking permits and top up your paid parking account.

To promote the use of virtual ticket payments rather than customers visiting our office, we have suspended the $3 online fee for ticket payments.   

Heritage Park Member Parking

Membership Parking at Heritage Park has changed to the Online Parking Permit System. ParkOnline is no longer used.

Heritage Park members are entitled to complimentary parking at Heritage Park, 24 hours a day, year-round, once you have added and activated your licence plate(s) on the Online Parking Permit System. Please note that Express Annual Pass Members do not receive complimentary parking.

Please note that the Online Parking Permit System account is separate from your ParkPlus cell phone account, if you have one. Updating one account will not affect the other.

Current Heritage Park Members

Current Heritage Park Members will have their membership parking including their current registered licence plate(s) automatically transferred to the new Online Parking Permit System and will be able to continue to park their current registered vehicles at Heritage Park. In order to make changes to your account, you will need to set your password on the new system.

Note: If you have an existing online Residential Parking Permit, Calgary Zoo or TELUS Spark parking services  account, you will not need to set your password as long as you are using the same e-mail address as your Heritage Park membership. You can login to the new system using the same login credentials.

How do I set my password on the Online Parking Permit System?

  1. Go to https://heritagepark.permit.parkplus.ca and click Welcome
  2. This will lead you to the Parking Services login page, click Reset Password 
  3. Enter in the e-mail associated with your existing Heritage Park parking account
  4. Check your e-mail to verify your account and set your password
  5. Now you can login to the new system
  6. Click My Permits and on the left hand side click Manage Permits
  7. Verify that your active licence plates are correct

New Heritage Park Members

Complimentary parking at Heritage Park is included for all Heritage Park Explore or Escape Annual Pass or Heritage Club Members. Once you have registered and activated your licence plate(s), you can park one of your registered vehicle at Heritage Park any time you visit with no need for further action.

  1. Go to https://heritagepark.permit.parkplus.ca and click Welcome
  2. This will lead you to the Parking Services login page, click Create Account
  3. Fill out the following information:
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • E-mail
    • Password
  4. Click Sign Up
  5. An e-mail will be sent to you, please follow the instructions on the e-mail to confirm your e-mail and activate your account

Note: If you have a Residential Parking Permit or Calgary Zoo parking services account and your Heritage Park membership uses the same e-mail, you can use the same login credentials.

How do I register my Heritage Park Membership Parking?

  1. Go to https://heritagepark.permit.parkplus.ca  and sign in
  2. Click My Permits and on the left hand side click Register Membership
  3. Enter your last name and your Heritage Park membership number and click Submit
    • The last name must match the last name on your membership card
    • If you don't have your Membership number, please contact Heritage Park at 403-268-8500

In the right hand corner click the “Show Help” button. A step by step guide on how to apply for your membership parking will pop up and guide you through the process.

How do I activate my licence plate(s)?

  1. Go to https://heritagepark.permit.parkplus.ca and sign in
  2. Click My Permits and on the left hand side click Manage Permits
  3. Click on Add or Remove Licence Plate from Plate List
  4. Under New Plate, enter your licence plate number and province/state and click Add Plate.
  5. Click on Edit Active Plate List under the Membership/Permit Number you want to edit
  6. Click the switch beside the licence plate you want activated until it turns green and click Save. You can activate up to two licence plates at a time.
    • Make sure you edit the active plate list for each membership/permit number

How many licence plates can I register?

Heritage Park members can activate two licence plates, but - only one (1) activated licence plate per adult/senior membership number is eligible for complimentary parking at one time. Before you park at Heritage Park, you must ensure the correct licence plate(s) are activated in the Online Parking Permit System as you can keep multiple licence plates on file.

How long is my parking valid for?

Once you have registered your licence plate(s), you will maintain your parking privileges at Heritage Park until your membership expires.

Membership Renewals

Existing Heritage Park members who have registered their licence plate(s) with the Online Parking Permit System are not required to take action when they renew, provided they renew before membership expiry.  All members who have renewed can continue to use their existing Online Parking Permit System account to make changes to their Heritage Park parking information, including updating their licence plates.

  • You are able to use your existing ParkPlus cell phone account or create a cell phone account to pay for your parking at Heritage Park - you can use this same account to pay for parking in ANY ParkPlus zone!

In the case of a discrepancy between the rates shown here and those displayed at the lot, the rates at the lot shall prevail.

90 Minute Free Short-Stay Parking - For Retail and Restaurant Visits

In order to receive 90 minutes of free parking, you must register your licence plate at the ParkPlus pay machine at Heritage Park. You're entitled to one free 90 minute parking session per visit. This is intended for short stays to the retail and restaurants situated outside the Park. Failure to comply may result in a parking ticket. 

Please note that 90 minute free sessions cannot be activated using your ParkPlus cell phone account.
