CPA Leadership Team

Lot 7 (208 - 9 Ave SW) will be fully closed for an equipment hoist October 23rd between 7:00 am - 3 pm.

Lot 62 (399 - 9 Ave SE) Platform Parkade rooftop will be partially closed for filming October 23rd between 10:30 am – 1:00 pm. 

The CPA Leadership Team consists of eight members, including our General Manager and managers for each of the respective CPA departments.

Chris Blaschuk, Interim General Manager

 
 

Chris is leading the CPA during the integration with The City of Calgary as Interim General Manager. Chris has been with The City since 2003 in several roles with the Transportation Department, most recently as the Manager of the Transportation Strategy Division. He became The City's first Parking Strategist in 2008 and has experience working with teams across the CPA on a variety of initiatives and projects.

Medina Dehatee, Manager, Operations & Facilities

 

Medina manages the department responsible for the organization’s operations, innovative facilities development and maintenance, and planning and creative marketing strategies for all on- and off-street parking at the CPA. This team is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and maintenance of all physical assets, maximizing the use of all parking facilities and ensuring the CPA provides exceptional parking experiences for our customers. Medina also manages the Municipal Impound Lot and is responsible for the secure storage and care of vehicles that have been stolen, abandoned, parked illegally, or have been involved in an accident or crime. 

Andrew DonohoeManager, Commercial & Strategic Development 

 

Andrew officially joined the CPA as Manager, Commercial & Strategic Development in March 2020 after providing onsite legal support for several years prior as a lawyer for The City of Calgary. In his current role, Andrew provides commercial and strategic advice in support of the CPA's business requirements and in alignment with the CPA's strategic plan.

Jared Foulds, Controller/Manager, Financial Services

 

Jared joined the CPA in 2018; his position involves numerous tasks, including finalizing the budgets, monthly reports, year-end reports and financial statements. Jared's Financial Services team assists in key areas of business management, budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and revenue objectives.

 

 Guy Gusdal, Manager, Parking Safety & Compliance

 

Guy joined CPA in January 2020 as the Manager of the Parking Safety & Compliance department. Parking Safety and Compliance enforces parking regulations on behalf of The City of Calgary and includes the Parking Patrol & Investigation Officers and administrative review team, which handles the issuance of tickets via our automated enforcement system.

Carla Marcano, Acting Manager, Parking Solutioins

 

Carla has provided expertise to the Parking Solutions team in several capacities since 2016. She is currently Acting Manager of the operational and technical teams that keep the ParkPlus System on the cutting edge of the parking industry. Alex Paredes, Manager, IT & Technical Services

 

Alex and his team oversee the various systems and programs used by the CPA to operate the ParkPlus System and provide technical services to the CPA as an organization. They also provide direct pay machine support and are responsible for servicing the ParkPlus pay machines and assist in maintaining CPA's security and parking guidance systems.

 

Tracey Sparrow, Acting Manager, Human Resources 

 

Tracey oversees the Human Resources team, who supports the organization to attract and retain talent in an innovative and inclusive workplace. The CPA offers competitive total compensation, supports fairness, equity, and collaboration among diverse teams and values a healthy, safe and respectful work environment.

Christina Casallas, Acting Manager, Communications and

Peter Adamson, Acting Manager, Customer Service

The Communications and Customer Service department is comprised of the communications team and the Contact Centre. Christina is currently leading the communications team, which manages internal & external communications, media relations, social media strategy, event planning and website content. Peter oversees the Contact Centre's customer service team, which provides front-line support for monthly contract holders, ParkPlus customers and Calgary residents with Residential Parking Permits.
