There are two types of Visitor Permits that you may be able to get:
You can apply for a Visitors Permit:
If you apply in person, you will need to show proof of address (such as a current telephone or utility bill).
If you fax or mail your request, you will need to send proof of address (such as a current telephone or utility bill). We will mail your permit to you.
Each single family, semi-detached, tri-plex, four-plex and rowhouse unit can apply for two visitor permits a year with the exceptions of Zone YY and AAA where only one visitor permit per residence is allowed.
Apartment style complexes do not qualify for yearlong visitor permits.
Only visitors to your address may use the permits.
You must supply proof of residence. If you move, the permit remains at the address.
Your permit will NOT be replaced if lost or stolen before they expire.
If you live in an apartment you can get a temporary two-week visitor permit for your out-of-town guests.
