Auction Information

Vehicles seized by Peace Officers are either claimed by their owners or scrapped or sold at public auction if unclaimed.
You can purchase an unclaimed vehicle at the public auction if you are the successful bidder.
Unclaimed vehcile auctions are held on the 3rd Saturday of every month at 421-36 Ave SE (just North of the Municipal Impound Lot).

Note: All vehicles are unclaimed by their owners. Vehicles may have been involved in accidents, arson or written off by insurance companies. Vehicles may not be in roadworthy condition.

Vehicle owners may claim their vehicles up to the start of the auction by paying all outstanding amounts owed.

The following conditions apply:

• All vehicles are sold as is. There is no expressed or implied warranty or guarantee of vehicle condition.
• Vehicles will be delivered to your private property by our towing contractor within 48 hours of the purchase at our contract rates. No private vehicle towing or contract towing allowed.
• Vehicles may not be stored, parked or driven on public streets or alleys without complying with all Alberta Registry requirements. Visit Alberta Registries for more details.
• Motorcycles, dirt bikes, scooters and similar vehicles may be loaded directly onto private trucks or trailers by buyers upon Proof of Purchase immediately after the sale.
• Trailers (in towable condition) may be towed out by buyers upon Proof of Purchase with a VALID trailer license plate and Registration immediately after the sale.
• Vehicles not removed within 48 hours due to buyers providing inaccurate/no delivery addresses or late delivery requests may be subject to additional storage charges.
• Vehicles returned to the Impound Lot due to incorrect delivery addresses are subject to towing and storage fees at buyer's expense.
