How does it work?
Simple. You pay for your parking up front. The cash value of your parking purchase will be electronically encoded on your Smart Pay™card. Then, anytime you want to park at a Calgary Parking Authority meter, you just insert your card. The meter will automatically transfer cash from your card to the meter until your meter indicates the desired amount of time.

How to Purchase:

Each Smart Pay™ card comes with $100 worth of electronic cash. Once you've used up all the cash on your card, bring it back and purchase another Smart Pay™ card. Get yours at the Calgary Parking Authority Office: 620 9 Ave SW, Calgary

Payment options: Payment can be made by Visa, Mastercard, debit card or cash. Personal and company cheques are not accepted as a form of payment.

Please note a $10.00 refundable deposit is required for each Smart Pay™ card  purchased.

Please note that the Calgary Parking Authority is no longer selling or exchanging SmartPay Cards. If you have any money left on your SmartPay Card it will be refunded to your credit card, returned to you by cheque or transferred into any existing ParkPlus cell phone account along with your original $10 deposit.
