Pay Tickets Online program

Calgary Parking Authority launches Pay Tickets Online program

Today the Calgary Parking Authority (CPA) unveiled a new service that allows people to pay their parking tickets on the Internet.

Customers simply go to www.calgaryparking.com and follow the Pay Tickets Online link or go to www.parkplus.ca and click on the Pay Tickets Online tab. Once they provide their parking ticket number and license plate information, they will be guided through a simple, step-by-step process. The service also allows them to look up all outstanding tickets and pay them at the same time.

And now it is even easier to make early payment and qualify for a fine reduction by paying on-line. The cost for the service is $3.00 per ticket and major credit cards are accepted.

“It’s easy, convenient and fast,” said Dale Fraser, CPA General Manager. “This service makes it much more convenient to pay parking tickets early and help people avoid late payment penalties.”

Current payment options for parking tickets include mailing a cheque or money order, or paying at most major banks, City Hall cashiers or the Calgary Parking Authority office.

“Let’s face it, no one likes paying a parking ticket, but you still need to do it,” said Fraser. “This is all part of the Calgary Parking Authority’s plan to provide an increasing number of our services online.”

The Calgary Parking Authority issues approximately 300,000 parking tickets a year for a variety of offences including overtime parking in a time restricted zone, parking at an expired meter and parking in a no stopping or no parking zone.
