City Centre Parkade Renovations 2006
From May until September 2006 there will be ongoing construction at this parkade.
Traffic deck coating will be applied to Levels 3A through 5A and to the center stairwells beginning in May. The coating will extend the life of the concrete and provide increased traction for both pedestrians and vehicles.
Prior to applying the traffic deck coating, repairs will be made to the expansion joints on the level. These joints allow the concrete slabs to flex and assist in distributing the weight load of traffic evenly throughout the level. It is critical to maintain the expansion joints to extend the life of the parkade.
Once the repairs and coating are complete, line painting will start.
Please obey construction signs and watch for equipment in the parkade.
